It's a sports talk hot market. Are you in?

Right now, the sports industry is teeming with talk. No live competition. No hotdogs. No popcorn. No happy hours at the local watering hole. Just plain talk

Most of this talk is around the future of the sports industry…  What will happen after this curve starts to head downward? Will we have any live audiences this year? Will venue protocols be altered forever? What elements of this business will stand the test of time?

Now is the time to get in on the talk circuit.

If you’re not actually getting out there and TALKING about this stuff with your peers (and prospects) in front of a captive audience, NOW is the time to get on the horse and giddyup.

Podcasts, radio shows, television interviews, opinion pieces…LinkedIN. These are all platforms where you can inject your viewpoint into this conversation and offer the industry a unique perspective.

The industry needs and wants to hear your voice, especially now.

What is your unique value to the sports business and its fans? What niche within the niche that is the sports business are you THE expert on?

One of my clients is an expert in sports sponsorship. When the news broke that the professional leagues were shutting down, we gathered ourselves, propped up our jaws and got to work drafting an opinion piece that was published a week later in Sports Business Journal. And, get this? Next week, she’ll be a guest on SportsBusiness Radio with Brian Berger to talk COVID-19’s impact on sponsorship…

My goal is to get you in the position to say something.

The first thing I do in any content strategy engagement is build out a media profile pitch document for my thought leader. Most of the time this is a C-level executive, founder or upper level sports industry professional with solid experience, and maybe a few awards under their belt.

If we’re speaking in metaphors, the media profile doc is the tablecloth that goes down before we start the discussions with the media. Having a crystal clear one sheeter that describes a potential guest and his or her offering just makes things easier… on both sides of the table.

So, are you ready to start talking?

If you’re game, dig this.

Right now, I’m offering emerging thought leaders in the sports industry an introductory service to kick start their journey in sports talk vocals — for $579.

What you’ll get:

  • A fully designed media pitch profile document (yours forever!) Here’s mine.

  • A custom content playbook (your guide to earned content opportunities that make sense for YOU)

  • Two 60 minute one-on-one zoom strategy sessions with me to dig into process and execution
